Learning how to do stuff. Next up colours, clothes and jewelry D&D style. I’m on a fantasy kick.
Coming up with a picture by first blobbing out the shape instead of sketching seems to suit me better? At least it feels a lot better, with portraits anyway.

Three different wip stages of another portrait of my rogue Tabris in DA:O (yes I reinstalled it): trying out new things to challenge myself out of my comfort zone and liking what I’m doing so far. No references used.
But mom those colours and contrast sure are scary things.

Boom, doodle post. I went creeping on Commanderbishoujo’s Dragon Age tag the other day, got inspired and now I’m losing the fight against an urge to reinstall DA:O. So here are unfinished Tabris and Velanna.

Wanted to try out no references with Velanna for a change. Can tell, yes.

Warm up turned Bella Goth.

Past few months, finished and unfinished warm-ups.

See the above? I was stuck with my Edwin portrait, so I went here and asked for paintover help from the brilliant Steven Stahlberg who is well, brilliant. Both for doing that and at what he does. See the magic? Eek! Now I can study what he did and improve on the piece <3! Much love.
